This amazing mum loses 20kg and discovers how to enjoy time with her kids again

Hayley Campbell never expected to lose 20kg* on the Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge and was amazed not only by the weight loss but by the rewards that came with it.

Hayley is not just a mum who has lost a significant amount of weight, she has also transformed herself both mentally and physically.  She no longer lacks energy and suffers mood swings. Hayley now leads an active lifestyle and has discovered a new joy in sharing this with her children.

Here is Hayley’s story:

“My name is Hayley Campbell. I am a 31 year old mum to a 4 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. After my son was born my weight ballooned to 140kg. Unhappy with the way I looked, I started incorporating Healthy Mummy Smoothies into my diet and lots of walking. I managed to lose 24kg in 12 months.

Then 10 months after having my second child I realised my weight had crept back up to nearly 130kg again. That’s when I decided to commit to the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.

Being active is something I always wished I could be, but just didn’t think I was capable of.

I have started running for the first time in my life and now choose exercise over sitting on the couch.

I no longer look at food as a source of comfort but as a source of fuel.

My moods so much more stable now that I have a better diet and regular exercise and I have a more positive outlook on life. I am fitter, healthier and stronger than ever before – even my teen years!
