Over 1,500 mums tell us what they ACTUALLY want for Mother's Day - the top 3 don't cost anything!

72% of Mums reveal that what they REALLY want for Mother’s Day doesn’t cost a cent!!

Listen up, kids (and husbands)! Mums have spoken and they don’t want you to break the bank when it comes to gifts this Mother’s Day. You can still make your mother feel super special by doing some very simple cost-free things.

72% of the mums surveyed picked things they wanted for Mothers Day that didn’t actually cost any money! We’re talking breakfast in bed, quiet all day and the kids not fighting! It really is the simple things!

The TOP Three No Cost Mothers Day Requests from Mums

The top three things that most mums want (29%) were: a sleep-in, all the housework done, and the overwhelming top request for mums this year……. A Day Out with the Kids!! We’re talking picnics, long walks, a bike ride or a day at the beach. It’s obvious that the thing mums want the most is to just spend quality time with their kids outside of the house!

Talking of the house, doing domestic chores can seem never-ending for most mums so it’s no surprise that for 17% of mums surveyed say their number one choice for a Mothers Day gift was to get all the housework, laundry and cooking done for the day!

What’s more, mums in our survey said they’d take some peace and quiet with the kids not fighting  (9%) over a new wardrobe and a night out (5%).

And when it comes to gifts, 9% of our mums say they’d much prefer homemade ones over expensive ones and spa days.

Interestingly, the majority of our mums opted for cost-free things like a surprise, breakfast in bed, and being able to eat chocolate all day but with no calorie count rather than a day out shopping or a family holiday!

So there you have it! The results have spoken – mums just want a quiet, relaxing day over expensive presents!

What our Healthy Mummy Super Coaches want for Mother’s Day

We asked our Healthy Mummy Super Coaches what they want for Mother’s Day this year, and this is what they had to say.

Super Coach Sascha Farley, who lost 30 kilos with The Healthy Mummy has four beautiful kids and really just wants the simple things for her Mothers Day.

Sascha says, “For Mother’s Day this year I would love to spend a little extra time in bed in the morning but honestly I’d then just love a family day! Walks on the beach, naps in the middle of the day, more fresh air in the afternoon and then a takeaway so I don’t have to cook.’

Samara Rochelle Khoury is a Healthy Mummy Super Coach and a single mum to two beautiful girls. For Samara, Mothers Day is all about enjoying her coffee in peace!

Samara says, “What I really want for Mother’s Day is a full night of uninterrupted sleep and the only thing that wakes me in the morning is just my eyes opening. And it’s silent. And I can enjoy my coffee in peace while it’s hot…. Omg almost orgasmic. “

Cicily Goodwin lost a massive 56 kilos and is now a Healthy Mummy Super Coach. The single mum has two kids and wants quality time and adventure with her little ones.

Cicily says “For Mother’s Day this year I’d love more than anything a day with my children out on adventures with smiling faces, making memories, with no pressure of where we have to be or what we have to do, just follow our hearts and see where the wind takes us.”
