RECALL ISSUED: Aldi Australia issues a recall on electric kettles!

Attention Aldi lovers!

ALDI Australia has issued a recall on Stirling 1.7L Electric Kettle because of the risk of scalding due to the handle becoming loose and falling off.

On their Facebook page, ALDI posted that they take “product quality and safety seriously” which is why they wanted to issue the recall.

Stirling 1.7L Electric Kettle recalled

Stirling 1.7L Electric Kettle’s are being recalled by ALDI Australia after it was discovered that the handles are at risk of loosening and falling off which could cause users to be scalded.

Which products are affected?

Open handle kettles in various colours with PLUs 56361, 56362, 56363, 58091, 58092, 58093, 58848, 60039, 60040, 60041 are affected.

The PLU number is located on the underside of the base unit of the kettle.

Where is it sold?

In ALDI stores across Australia.

What to do if you bought this product?

Stop using the product immediately. Consumers can return the product to any ALDI Store for a full refund.
