Showering your kids in kisses is something mums and dads do best, so why is David Beckham doing it any different?
Recently, David Beckham posted an adorable selfie of him and his 7-year-old daughter Harper at an ice skating rink, kissing her on the lips.
Cue the hateful comments!
David Beckham gets attacked for photo with his daughter
Once David posted the image to his Instagram the trolls were flying in, even in the form of UK host Piers Morgan called Beckham “creepy” and “weird” for the way he shows his daughter affection.
Another comment said, “Why would you kiss your daughter on the lips? It’s disgusting. Very weird.”
However, Beckham did get support from MANY people including other sportsman where they posted images kissing their kids on the lips showing it is pure love and nothing more.
This is the second photo David has shared kissing his daughter, the first time he defended the haters saying, “I kiss all my kids on the lips. Brooklyn maybe not. Brooklyn is 18, so he might find that a little strange, but I’m very affectionate with the kids.
It’s how I was brought up – and Victoria – and it’s how we are with our children.'”
Too right! We love how you show your kids such lovely affection!
