Target Australia issued a product recall on the Young Ones My First Swing Set due to the risk it may fall and cause serious injury to any child in it.
The company advised customers to take the set back to their nearest Target or Target Country store for a full refund with or without a receipt.
This is the second Young Ones product Target has had to recall in recent months with the company and the ACCC issuing a recall on the Young Ones My First Sand and Water Table due to a possible choking hazard.

Target Australia recalls child swing set due to the risk of it falling over
The company said in their Facebook post announcing the recall, “At Target Australia, the safety of our customers is our highest priority. This is why we’ve decided to conduct a voluntary recall of the Young Ones My First Swing Set due to a safety issue. This item was available for purchase between September 2018 and January 2019. We recommend you stop using the item immediately and return it to a Target or Target Country store as soon as possible, with or without a receipt, where our team members will provide you with a full refund.”
Product recalled and where it is sold:
Young Ones My First Swing Set with keycode 61531109 sold at Target, Target Country and Target.com.au between September 2018 and January 2019.
Reason for recall:
Swing set may tilt forward and/or frame may tip during use due to design defect which could cause it to fall over completely and cause serious injury to any child inside.
What to do if you own one?
Target Australia recommends any person in possession of the product should cease use straight away and return the item to their closest Target or Target Country store for a full refund as soon as possible. A receipt will not be required in order to obtain a full refund.
