Ricky Martin Wants More Kids: ‘Girls Are Coming’

Ricky Martin is feeling broody!

The Puerto Rican singer – who is already dad to his eight-year-old twin boys, Valentino and Matteo – reveals he’s ready to add to his family.

Ricky Wants Some Daughters

During an interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the singer opened up about his sons, who were born via surrogacy.

“It’s funny because the way we do babies, I get to choose the sex,” the Livin’ La Vida Loca singer says. “So definitely girls are coming.”

Ricky says that his finance Jwan Yosef, who he began dating in April last year and became engaged to in November, also wants kids of his own too.

“I’m talking about my babies,” the 45-year-old singer says. “And then he is going to have more babies as well. Genetically, connection.”

And if he ends up with twins again, Ricky says he’d be delighted.

“Listen — if still we have the energy, let’s do it!” he added. “I don’t have a problem. If there’s two, there’s two.”

Ricky On Fatherhood

Ricky has opened up about his decision to have sons via a surrogate in the past.

“Adoption was one option, but it’s complicated and can take a long time,” he told People in 2008.

“Surrogacy was an intriguing and faster option. I thought, ‘I’m going to jump into this with no fear.’ ”

“I’m so happy! Everything they do, from smiling to crying, feels like a blessing. Being a father feels amazing. This has been the most spiritual moment in my life.”
