Why’s this a great breakfast option?

To be perfectly honest, this smoothie recipe is great anytime of the day, but particularly the mornings if you’re someone who likes something bright and colourful to start their day. Plus it has some other key ingredients for a nutritious boost!

  • Raspberries not only taste great but have some surprising health benefits. Like bananas they provide potassium and proven to lower blood pressure. They also contain omega-3 fatty acids that can help prevent stroke and heart disease.
  • Mango’s contain nutrients that support eye and skin health and are a good part of an overall healthy diet
  • Bananas are a great ingredient in smoothies. They are high in potassium and have a lot of healthy fibres that can help curb appetite as well as burning fat.
  • Chia is a little superfood  that not only can boost digestion and metabolism, but is also high in iron and Omega 3 making it a great addition to your diet. What’s more, it’s really high in fibre, which is so good for your digestive health and as well as making you feel full.
