35 year old mum-of-two Lauren da Silva has lost 15kgs since joining the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.
“Over 6 months I lost 15kg following the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge meal plan and using The Healthy Mummy Smoothies,” Lauren says. “I put all my focus into getting my food right when I first joined. After all, food was my biggest problem.”
However, Lauren’s journey has now become much more than weight loss. She is now on a mission to change as many women’s lives as possible.

Lauren joined the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge in July 2015. Within 6 months, she had lost 15kgs. “Nutrition really is so important to having successful weight loss,” says Lauren. And for sometime, this is where she struggled the most.
“Food was my biggest problem,” adds Lauren.
By waking up and having a Healthy Mummy Smoothie and sticking to the meal plans where possible, helped Lauren crack her goal weight.
“I don’t spend hours at a time meal prepping either, I prefer shorter cook ups more often.”

Effective workouts you can do from home
“How amazing are all the new workouts on the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge?” Lauren asks.
The mum-of-two says she never gets bored with exercise thanks to the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge App. “I have access to so many different styles of workouts on the App,” she adds.
When Lauren first joined the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge, all she wanted to do was drop a few kilograms.
As she became more and more active within the Healthy Mummy Community and within the Private Facebook Support Groups – Lauren realised The Healthy Mummy offered more than just a weight loss program. It offered a platform for mums to connect with each other safely, talk all things health and weight loss and an opportunity to empower one another.
“As I became more active in the group, I realsised that this is so much more than just a weight loss program. I’m now here because I love helping other women realize their worth, I love helping women regain their confidence, I love that I can help add life to so many women’s lives,” Lauren says.
“My goal now is to help change as many women’s lives as possible.”
Tummy fat blasting tips
Lauren’s weight loss success has inspired hundreds of mums within The Healthy Mummy Community. Her tummy transformation in particular has led many mums to ask, “what’s your secret?“.
Truth be told there is none! Just consistency, determination, exercise and sticking to your meal plan.
When it comes to Lauren’s best tips for blasting belly fat – they include:
- Cut the processed foods. Cooking from scratch is so much better for you.
- Drink up. Water that is.
- Increase your greens. I add broccoli and spinach all my meals, including spinach in my smoothies.
- Get sweaty! Walking, running, App exercises, gym, just move your body!
- Know your body. For me, eating too many processed carbs like bread and pasta cause me so much bloat. Try replacing pasta with Zoodles (zucchini noodles) and use wraps instead of bread.
Encouraging other mums
“On the 28 Day weight Loss Challenge, you literally have your meal and exercise plan at your fingertips at all times. The meals are simple and nutritious without complication,” Lauren shares.
Just remember, weight loss success doesn’t happen over night.
