Chantel Loses 16kg

My name is Chantel and my little girl was born in September 2012.

I didn’t have a great pregnancy and I was in hospital for a lot of it and gained a lot of weight – By the end of my pregnancy I was nearly 90 kg. I had put on over 20 kgs in just 7 months.

My partner asked me to marry him to me on New Year’s Eve and it was at that moment that I decided I was not going to be overweight at my wedding.

I found the healthy mummy plans and decided to give them a go.

I lost weight within the first week of following the healthy mummy smoothies and I followed the plan step by step.

Most of the other diets I had tried I had given up after a week because I did not see great results.

But to see that I had lost a couple of kg in such a short time motivated me to keep going to see if I could lose more.

I was so stunned about losing 2kg in one week that I just had to keep going.

I have tried so many new foods, and I can’t believe how much of a change it has had to my energy and my moods.

I still have 1 cheat day a week. So on a Sunday I can eat whatever I want.

All week I think to myself ‘If I wait until Sunday then I can eat it and not feel bad about it, I can enjoy it.’ If I have bad food during the week I will know in my head it is the wrong thing to do.

So that cheat day is what gets me through the week.

With only a few kgs left until I am at my goal weight I am so excited to jump on the scales every day and watch those numbers slowly disappear. I have now lost 16kg and I am very happy!
