Parody ‘Shut Up And Go To Sleep’ Is Perfect For Sleep Deprived Parents

The most PERFECT parody has been created by a father who is running on little sleep and (probably) copious amount of coffee.

Oh, don’t you dare get up, no you don’t have to pee

You said I want I drink, I said shut up and go to sleep.

Sounds Too Familiar

The phrase ‘shut up and go to sleep’ is one that frequents my mouth when I hear them trod down the stairs after bed time. But this Dad is a legend for creating this song. He perfectly sums up how every parents feels when their kids just won’t go to freaking sleep.

His parody to Walk The Moon’s hit, ‘Shut Up And Dance With Me’ is sublime.

Every night of my life, it’s a struggle to even get the children to bed. To keep them in bed is an even bigger task. I just want to watch adult TV without listening to Jimmy Giggle and his stupid owl, Hoot. Is that too much to ask? Dad, Reed Verdesoto, gets it. He’s done with the 109 questions after he puts his kids to bed.

Running on minimal sleep and 100% humour, Reed thought of the hilarious idea when his 3 daughters under the age of 5 would NOT go back to bed. “These kids will be the death of me. I said Ohh oh ohhh. Shut up and go to sleep.”

This parody somewhat reminds me of the hilarious book ‘Go The F*ck To Sleep.’ A book read by many celebrities on YouTube, including Jennifer Garner and Morgan Freeman. A book needed by many sleep deprived mothers and fathers around the world.

So tonight, when your children will not go back to bed, sing them this song and see how they like it.

Oh and good luck trying to get this tune out of your head for the rest of the day.
