Here at Healthy Mummy HQ, we love a good non-scale victory. And whilst Jo has lost an unbelievable 42kg, she has also gained more energy and now loves shopping and trying on new clothes in bright colours!
Jo says, “Since signing up to the Healthy Mummy 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges in April 2016, I have lost over 42kg and over 100cm from my body!!
I was a tight size 18-20 (closer to a size 20), and I weighed 97.8 kilos. I hated leaving the house and getting ready for functions, as I just did not like the reflection in the mirror and did not look how I wanted!
Fast forward to June 2017 and I’m now fitting into this vintage size 8 formal dress for an upcoming op shop party and I weigh 55.2kg!
I feel absolutely amazing!! I have more energy, I’m happier and just can’t believe how easy and delicious it was to change my life in just under 12 months!!
I love dressing up for functions now and I love shopping for them too. I’m now a size 6-8 and I just love being able to buy off the rack with no trying on first! This is a massive non scale victory for me with no more disappointed feelings when clothes don’t fit! And no more dressing in dark colours, for this one very proud mama!
