It’s been seven months of hard work and determination, but mum-of-two Jennifer Matthewman has lost an incredible 16kgs and over 90cms from her body with help from The Healthy Mummy’s 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.

Mum who lost 16kgs in 7 months shares her top weight loss tips
From August 2017 to the present day, it’s been seven months of hard work and determination for Jennifer. This inspiring mum has been on a mission to make some huge lifestyle changes, improve her eating habits and lose weight; and Jennifer has done just that.
“I haven’t by any means been perfect,” Jennifer admits however. “I’ve had my ups and downs and hurdles just like everyone else! I started this to become a better person, so I can be a better partner and mother!”
Jennifer shares that she was also “sick of feeling tired and lost.”

More recently, Jennifer has faced a different challenge – anaemia. Jennifer has even had to have an iron infusion. Nonetheless, Jennifer has seen not let these life challenges squash her motivation.
Jennifer says, “I love the new me, I’m embracing this journey and what’s been thrown at me! I’m one determined little lady (I’m super short) and as Ash would say it’s all about being CONSISTENT!”
And her favourite motivation is, “If you can dream it, do it.” How awesome is that?!
Jennifer’s favourite tips to stay on track
When it comes to staying on track, and encouraging mums to start their own weight loss journey (and sticking to it) Jennifer recommends the following:
1. Take the family out to a park- enjoy your time together!
2. Set goals….always!
3. Reflect and refocus at the end of the week.
4. Remember to have fun with it.
5. Get out of your comfort zone…it’s exhilarating!
