TRAGIC: Body Of Missing Mum Has Been Found After A Wide-Scale Search

Tragic news.

We were so saddened to hear about the tragic death of Hannah Cook, who was also a member of our Healthy Mummy Support Group. If you knew Hannah or are affected by this story and are looking for support we suggest reaching out to your GP or call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Hannah, 25, was reported missing two days ago after she was last seen dropping one of her children off at a Gladstone school at 9am on Monday.

The mum’s body was discovered near Catfish Creek and her family have been notified, reports the Gladstone Observer.

Officers found Hannah’s four-wheel drive on Tuesday afternoon near Mount Alma, which is around 30km from her hometown of Calliope.

An extensive search around the area was conducted for her, with a dog squad deployed and helicopters circulating around the area.

According to the Queensland Police service, Hannah’s family and the police were “concerned” for her safety as she has a medical condition.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

What a devastating story. Our thoughts are with Hannah’s family at this tragic time.
