Urgent Recall of children’s pyjamas and bathrobes over fire hazard fear

A popular brand of sleepwear and bathrobes for children has been recalled over fears they could burst into flames.

Parents have been urged to return their Sweet and Soft Pyjamas and Bath Robes immediately. The range has been sold online Nationally by Ozsale and has been available for over a year.

The ACCC recalled them on Sunday over concerns they do not have the fire hazard information label required by mandatory Australian stands, so parents may not realise they’re dangerous.

Parents and carers may not be aware of the fire hazard, which may pose a potential fire risk to the wearer,‘ the ACCC recall stated.

The affected pyjamas were on sale between June 1, 2017, and March 24, 2019, and the bath robes March 7, 2018, to March 13, 2018.

Customers were told to stop using the products and contact seller Ozsale to receive a full refund and $20 credit for the online store.

Consumers who are unsure if their children’s clothes are affected are encouraged to contact Ozsale on 02 8081 0972.
