Cindy Crawford has opened up about George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney’s pregnancy as well as the parenting advice she gave the couple.
Last week, it was revealed the couple are expecting twins – and the 50-year-old supermodel, who is mum to Presley, 17, and Kaia, 15, has some parenting advice for the two.
Cindy, who is currently in Australia with watch brand Omega, was at first coy about Amal’s pregnancy, telling Today Show host Lisa Wilkinson:“I read that[they were expecting] as well, but that’s all I can say…”
But then she opened up and added: “My only advice is enjoy it.”
However, Lisa says that when the cameras stopped rolling, Cindy- whose husband Rande Gerber is George’s BFF and business partner – told her: “Oh, so it’s actually been confirmed? Thank heavens! I had to keep that in for months.”
Meanwhile, Matt Damon, who appears in a number of films with George, including the Ocean’s Eleven franchise – told the actor to keep his baby news under wraps at first!
“I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and, I mean, I almost started crying. I was so happy for him,” Matt reveals.
“And I was like, ‘How far along is she?’ And he goes, ‘Eight weeks,” Matt says.
“‘[I said to him] are you out of your mind?! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t you know the 12-week rule?’ “Like of course he doesn’t [know the rule].”
Matt says that he’s over the moon for the couple, who married in 2014, and thinks George is a lucky man.
“I’m thrilled for him,” he added. “[Amal’s] amazing. He hit the jackpot. Just on every level. She is a remarkable woman. They’re gonna be great. They’re gonna be awesome parents. Those kids are lucky.”
