Hi-5 actress and singer Lauren Brant is just weeks away from her due date, and she says she CAN’T WAIT for her pregnancy to be over.
‘9 Months Is A Long Time’
Taking to Instagram, the 28 year-old star captioned a pic of herself saying: “5.5 weeks to go! So here’s what I was told at the start: The 1st trimester you are sick and tired.
“The 2nd trimester you start to show and get your energy back. The 3rd trimester you are uncomfortable and times goes reeeeeallyyyy sllllllooooowww. With a couple of differences here and there, it’s all pretty much spot on.
“Let’s face it, 9 months is a long time. You can pretty much round it off to a year right?! Having a baby isn’t a quick process and I feel like I’ve been pregnant for forever.”
The Final Countdown
The children’s entertainer, who is expecting her first child with her partner Barry Hall, 40, added that she can’t wait for it to be over and has been busy napping and having baths in an attempt to stop herself turning into “the Grinch.”
“So I’m freaking excited to be 8 months pregnant and on the final countdown. I know that the final few weeks will feel like a lifetime, but I’m ok with that,” she wrote.
“I still have to complete our move to QLD, do Bubs nursery, fit the car seats, pack my hospital bag and try fit in a babymoon and I.
“While making sure I get my daily naps and baths as they are the only things keeping me from turning into the Grinch.”
