Michael Bublé’s Wife Luisana Opens Up About Noah’s Battle With Liver Cancer

Michael Bublé and his family’s whole world was shattered when their three year-old son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer in November last year.

Since then, the family have been by the tot’s side while he’s undergone four months of chemotherapy, which ended last month.

‘Your Prayers Reached Us’

Now the crooner’s wife, Luisana Lopilato, has opened up about her son’s diagnosis and how little Noah is doing now.

At a press conference in Argentina, she told the audience: “Thank God, my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes.

“It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today. I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love. I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.”

Luisana, who is also mum to one year-old Elias, went on to say that things are still a bit raw for her.

“It’s difficult for me to speak about this, it’s very recent and I’m still a bit sensitive about the subject,” she admitted.

“But the love is daily, when people stop me in the street. It’s wonderful to know that you’re accompanied in life and that people love you.”

Noah’s Long Road Ahead

The family returned to Luisana’s native hometown of Bueno Aires last month after Noah finished treatment as the actress and model is currently filming a project in Argentina.

And while things are looking good for Noah, Luisana says he still has a long recovery ahead of him.

“My son’s recovery is a long process, as you all know, and he has to continue with check-ups,” she added.

“But we are very happy. We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow. Seeing Noah grow and being happy gave me the strength to return and finish this film.

“My faith in the fact God had a miracle helped me. I became strong so my son would get better. I transmitted that to all my friends and family.

“As a family we were always very united and we fought this together. We did everything we could for our son, so he would come through this.”

Michael recently gave E! News an update on the progress of his son’s cancer treatment.

The singer said: He has been brave throughout and we continue to be inspired by his courage. We thank God for the strength he has given all of us.”

“Our gratitude to his doctors and caretakers cannot be put into words. We’d also like to thank the thousands of people that have sent their prayers and good wishes to us,” he said.

“As we continue this journey, we are greatly comforted by your support and love.”

We’re so glad to hear that Noah is well and on the mend. Our hearts have been with the Buble family throughout this whole time. Keep on fighting little man.

For families undergoing a similar fight, we wish you all the strength in the world. Please remember that there are charities that can help with costs and offer support including Kids with Cancer FoundationRedkite and Starlight Children’s Foundation.
