‘I just love food’ Chrissy Teigen on gaining weight after the birth of her son Miles

Chrissy Teigen reveals she’s embracing her post-baby curves and has no plans to lose the baby weight any time soon.

In fact, the 33-year-old model told fans on Twitter she now weighs 20 pounds [9kg] more after the birth of her son Miles, but she says she’s feeling better than ever.

Chrissy Teigen says she loves food too much to lose the last bit of baby weight

Taking to Twitter, Chrissy wrote: “How do you eat like this?? – basically, I am 20 pounds heavier than I was before Miles. He’s 10 months old, I never lost the last bit because I just love food too much.

“Just coming to terms with my new normal, when I had this certain number for so long!”

Chrissy, who has revealed in the past she suffered from postnatal depression after the birth of her daughter Luna in April 2016, went on to say that the thinnest she’s ever been was after when she was feeling down.

She added: “The thinnest I’ve ever been was right after Luna. Postpartum depression. I’LL TAKE THESE POUNDS AND THIS FEELING!”

Chrissy, who is married to John Legend, admitted to People magazine that postpartum depression made her go off food.

“I started looking at food and was like, ‘I’m just not in the mood,” she said.

“It’s like going to the grocery store when you’re full. You just don’t want the same things. Food wasn’t thrilling for me.”

Chrissy Teigen says eating this helped her avoid having postnatal depression for the second time

In a recent interview with Good Housekeeping, the mum-of-two opened up about her weight gain since the birth of her son Miles in May last year.

“Every morning when I look at myself in the mirror, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, how did it get here? My baby was, like four pounds [2kg] and I gained, like, sixty pounds [27 kilograms], and that seems off’,” she joked.

“I’m not blind: I see my body, I see the difference in shape, I see that I gained weight. But I also see with those same eyes that I have a beautiful baby boy, and this little girl that’s relentless and amazing, and I am very happy.”

“This is a new thing that I can change within my mind, that I don’t have to be swimsuit model anymore. I get to be a mummy, cook, and meet incredible people, and I’m happy to be going through this transition.”

Thank you Chrissy, for always being so refreshingly honest about motherhood and your changing body.
