Princess Mary Visits New Mums And Babies In Hospital

Not everyone has the pleasure of a hospital visit from Princess Mary after giving birth!

The Aussie-born royal made a trip to the Righospitalet [Government Hospital] this week in conjunction with the Copenhagen Baby Heart Project, for whom she serves as a patron for.

And from the looks on the mums’ faces, it was clear they were delighted to see the Crown Princess making the rounds and checking in on them.

The 44-year-old royal, who is a member of the Danish royal family, is used to being in the company of babies, herself being a devoted mum to her kids, Christian, 11, Isabella, nine, and six-year-old twins Josephine and Vincent.

Mary may be set for a huge year, as royal experts predict her mother-in-law Queen Margarethe II, 76, is set to abdicate.

Swedish magazine Svensk Damtiding claims a number of royal insiders have let slip that the current Queen is contemplating stepping aside because she misses her 82-year-old husband, Prince Henrik, who retired from public life almost a year ago.

If this happens, then their son, Crown Prince Frederik – who is married to Mary – will become monarch, as he is the next in line to the throne. Wow! We love the thought of an awesome gal from Tassie ruling next to a KING!
